Matthew joined Dixon Wright in October 2011 having spent the previous 6 years working for Bidwells LLP where he qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2008, and before that DTZ in New Zealand.
Matthew has a broad cross-section of clients, both investors and occupiers. Acting for landlords, including a number of the major institutional investors, Matthew provides strategic advice on asset management and landlord and tenant related matters, as well as the acquisition and disposal of investment properties.
He also acts for a number of national occupiers, advising on everything from landlord and tenant matters, including acting as an Expert Witness in rent review and lease renewal disputes, as well as providing agency advice on the acquisition and disposal of both leasehold and freehold properties.
Outside work Matthew spends his free time with his two young children. He is also a keen rugby fan (for his sins a Gloucester supporter) and enjoys his shooting when the opportunity presents itself.
