James Way is a director of Dixon Wright.
James has more than 25 years’ experience in advising investors, landlords, owner occupiers and tenants throughout the UK and in Mainland Europe for Drivers Jonas and more recently Deloitte Real Estate, where he headed up the London Building Consultancy Team.
Whilst James has been involved in all aspects of building surveying throughout his career, he has specialized in technical due diligence work and has worked on both large and small scale projects in all asset classes including health care, hotels, office, retail, industrial, sport and leisure facilities.
He has found that having obtained degrees in both General Practice and Building surveying, he has a broad understanding of the property industry and this has enabled him to provide technical, but commercial advice to his clients. This advice has been greatly valued and has ensured that he has enjoyed a significant amount of repeat business resulting in James working for many clients for over 20 years.
James is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is married with three children and enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with his family and walking his dog in the countryside. Having played a lot of sport in the past, he now seems to spend a lot of his free time watching his children play various sports.
Before joining Dixon Wright, James Way was a partner at Drivers Jonas and following their merger with Deloitte, a director at Deloitte Real Estate. James most recently headed up the London Building Consultancy team, but he has always remained involved in major fee earning work. Recent examples of the work that James has undertaken can be found here.
